VERTEBRTE/INVERTEBRATE

INVERTEBRATES do not have internal skeleton, spine or backbone and they do not have bones or cranium.
Mollucsc, arthropods, echinoderms, worms, cnidarians and sponges are invertebrates.
*Arthropods can be divided into four groups:
Arachnids,
Crustaceans,
Insects
Myriapods.
* Molluscs can be divided into three groups:
- gastropods
- bivalves
- cephalopods








VERTEBRATES have an internal skeleton, a spine or backbone and bones. They also have a cranium or skull to protect their brain.
Mammals, Birds, Amphibians, Reptiles and Fish are vertebrates.
